Converted from the original croft cattle shed, the Cleadale Bothy offers basic self-
New for 2013: Our house extension is now complete which means visitors have access to a shower and flushing toilet. On sunny days there is plenty of hot water from our solar water heater.
Cleadale Bothy is a one room building with a wood burning stove, table and chairs, full size gas cooker (with up to date gas safety certificate), fridge, sink with cold running water and everything needed for basic self catering accommodation.
Sleeping accommodation comprises a double futon and raised single bed. An extra mattress can be placed under the single bed for a fourth person.
The compost toilet is situated close to the bothy.
As well as food and drink, visitors need to bring their own towels and a torch. We
ask that outside shoes are removed when entering so a pair of inside shoes is advisable
as the floor in the kitchen area is not carpeted. We provide a hand towel and tea-
