My husband and I stayed for two nights in the Kelpie cabin. It was lovely, cosy, all wooden, very clean, thoughtfully furnished complete with coat hangers, hot water bottle, well-equipped kitchen, little mirror and bed lamps, beautiful sky-blue duvets, folding table and chairs, nature and wallking guide-books, and great wood-stove. We appreciated the compost toilet nearby and the shower etc. in the house. But the best part were the views of mountain, rocks, island and sea, the happy dog, the hens and Sue´s beautiful and blooming garden, where we even partook of some fresh herbs and a large courgette. Sue, Neil and Dougal were all very friendly and helpful. Thank you! I really must come back!

We only stayed two nights in the Kelpie cabin. That’s definitely not enough. We had hard to leave the place, the people, the sheep’s, the dog, the chickens, etc.

We met Dougal from Eigg Organics already on the pier where he picked up our bags. He told us about the magical places on Eigg and their history. We are so thankful to have met Dougal. Such an inspiring person to meet.

The Kelpie Cabin was perfectly clean, all equipment was there and the beds were comfortable. And the views….wouw.

Everytime again. But then at least 5 days.

Thanks Dougal !!!

We spent 4 nights in the Kelpie Cabin and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Such a great location looking out to Rum and the cabin was very warm and spacious with a lovely wee wood burner which made even the dampest days quite lovely. Sue and Neil were excellent hosts picking up and dropping off our luggage at the ferry terminal. Our holiday on Eigg was fantastic from start to finish and I cannot recommend Eigg Organics highly enough as a beautiful location to spend your time on Eigg.

My husband and I stayed in this amazing bothy for 3 nights in May 2024. It exceeded all our expectations, from the welcome by Sue, the views front and back, the friendly chickens who greeted us every morning (and whose delicious eggs we enjoyed), the huge variety of walks on the island, to name a few things. I only wish we had booked to stay longer as we were very sad to leave and will definitely return one day.

I camped for four nights and it was an amazing experience. The views are second to none and drifting off to sleep with the sound of the sea and the waterfall made for a very peaceful break. Sue and Neil are lovely hosts and being surrounded by sheep, chickens and bunnies was really special. I even saw a golden eagle from the campsite! Will definitely be back.
