Cleadale Bothy

Located between spectacular cliff faces and stunning beaches, Cleadale Bothy is magical and unique with its stripped back simplicity for the perfect get away and back to nature seclusion.

The bothy is well equipped, comfortable and relaxing with everything you should need during your stay; including excellent WiFi and sustainable facilities. Your hosts, Sue and Neil, will meet you from the boat and are on hand to answer questions.

Converted from the original croft cattle shed, the Cleadale Bothy offers self-catering accommodation for up to four people.

“It is simple a dream place to be. Sue is a very kind and supportive host. Will always come back.”

Cleadale Bothy is a one room building with a wood burning stove, table and chairs, full size gas cooker (with up to date gas safety certificate), fridge, sink with cold running water and everything needed for self catering accommodation.

Sleeping accommodation comprises a double futon and raised single bed. The bothy can sleep four people – accommodation comprises a double bed settee and bunk beds. All bedding is supplied.

The compost toilet is situated close to the bothy and a shower room with flushing toilet is available close by.

“A great little bothy that has everything you need. Brilliant location and wonderful beaches.”

As well as food and drink, visitors need to bring their own towels and a torch. We ask that outside shoes are removed when entering so a pair of inside shoes is advisable as the floor in the kitchen area is not carpeted. We provide a hand towel and tea-towel with the bedding.

Costs of £80 per night (regardless of number of people staying) include bedding, wood, gas and electricity.

Minimum of two nights stay.
